Brazilian football legend Rivaldo is set to co-own Romanian club Farul Constanța alongside Romanian icon Gheorghe Hagi.

Today's news from Romania highlights the Brazilian football icon Rivaldo's visit. The ex-Barcelona standout is in the nation, primarily driven by business interests.

The 51-year-old Rivaldo is on the verge of becoming a co-owner of the Romanian top-tier club, Farul Constanța! Rivaldo will thus collaborate with Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi, who is already the owner of Farul.

In the future, the first division club will be managed by two former aces of the Catalan giant. Currently, the club sits in tenth place in Romania's top league, trailing the leader FCSB by nine points after seven rounds.

For Rivaldo, this won't be his first stint in club management. He was previously the president of the Brazilian fourth-tier club Mogi Mirim Esporte in Sao Paulo, where, to put it mildly, Rivaldo did not particularly shine.

It's worth noting that Rivaldo's son, 28-year-old Rivaldinho, already plays for Farul Constanța. In fact, there are two of them, as Rivaldinho's half-brother Gustavo Costa also plays there.

As for Hagi? He too has a relative on the team, Nicolas Popescu. The legendary Hagi, Romania's all-time top scorer, is his uncle.
