Romeo Beckham shared a cryptic tattoo photo amid growing rumours of tension between the Beckham brothers following Brooklyn’s absence from David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Romeo Beckham has stirred speculation of a Beckham family rift after sharing a cryptic photo on social media, just days after his brother Brooklyn Beckham missed all events marking David Beckham’s 50th birthday.
Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were absent from David’s birthday dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant in London, as well as earlier events in Paris and the Cotswolds. While Romeo, Cruz and Harper joined their parents for the celebrations, Brooklyn also did not post a public birthday message for his father.
David later posted a fishing trip selfie with Romeo and Cruz from Scotland, tagging Brooklyn with the caption: "You were missed @brooklynpeltzbeckham." The message appeared to acknowledge the growing public interest in the situation.
Now Romeo has added to the speculation by posting a close-up of his 2022 tattoo spelling out 'Love' on his hand. Though not new, the timing of the photo has raised eyebrows among fans, who view it as a subtle commentary on the family tension.
Fueling the fire, past rumours have suggested that Romeo and Brooklyn might not be on the best terms—allegedly linked to Kim Turnbull, Romeo’s current girlfriend. Online speculation hinted at a past romance between Brooklyn and Kim, but Cruz Beckham shut down those rumours, writing in a now-deleted comment: “Brooklyn and Kim never dated.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood commented on the Beckham family during an appearance on The Viall Files, calling them “a beautiful family” and saying “David was just Brooklyn’s dad.”
