Roy Keane criticised Liverpool for fielding reserves after winning the league, calling it disrespectful and saying, "Show some dignity."

Roy Keane has launched a sharp critique of Liverpool after the newly crowned Premier League champions fielded a string of rotational and fringe players in recent matches.

Since wrapping up the title several rounds early, coach Arne Slot has opted to rest key players and give rare starts to others, including Federico Chiesa, who has barely featured this season. The result has been just one point from three games, including lacklustre outings against Chelsea, Arsenal and Brighton.

Keane, speaking as a pundit, didn't hold back: "Liverpool have disconnected and it irritates me. It doesn't matter that they have already won the title. What is the message that now the bench players and the B team are playing? Show some dignity."

The former Manchester United captain also pointed to Mohamed Salah's on-field celebrations during the match against Brighton as an example of complacency. "Salah scores a goal and is already taking photos while the game is still going on? Get serious already!" Keane said.

While Liverpool fans have welcomed the chance to see younger or underused squad members before the season ends, critics like Keane argue that such rotations undermine the integrity of remaining fixtures — especially for teams still battling for European places or survival.

Liverpool, already focused on preparing for next season and the Club World Cup, have yet to respond to Keane’s criticism.
