Wrexham players are soaking up the sun and sights of Las Vegas, enjoying an all-expenses-paid trip gifted by co-owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney to celebrate their third successive promotion.
After sealing a top-two finish in League One and earning a historic rise to the Championship, the Welsh club’s stars—including James McClean and Steven Fletcher—have jetted off to Sin City for some well-earned downtime.
McClean posted updates from the team’s base near the iconic Bellagio hotel, with the squad enjoying the Vegas nightlife and daytime relaxation. “Chicken tenders and Red Bulls,” joked the Irishman in one of his social media updates from the poolside at Liquid.
This isn’t the first time Reynolds and McElhenney have rewarded the team. After each promotion, the Hollywood duo has treated the squad to memorable getaways, building on the feel-good factor that surrounds their club’s ongoing fairytale rise.
