German media disclose the salaries of their top footballers and coach Julian Nagelsmann, showcasing some impressive figures.

German media have delved into the always intriguing topic of how much their top footballers earn at their clubs.

Julian Nagelsmann, the head coach of the German national team, has already announced the 26 players who will represent the host nation at Euro 2024, which begins on June 14. The squad includes top stars as well as newcomers, such as the young Bayern Munich star of Serbian descent, Aleksandar Pavlović.

In an influential publication, Bild created a list of all 26 players called up by Nagelsmann for the European Championship, ranking them not by age or the number of matches, but by their salaries! The highest earners are players from Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Arsenal.

These include Joshua Kimmich, Leroy Sané, Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer, Kai Havertz, Toni Kroos, and Ilkay Gündogan, each earning €20 million. Next are the trio of Jamal Musiala, Antonio Rüdiger, and goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, each earning €9 million.

Following them are Niclas Füllkrug, Florian Wirtz, Benjamin Henrichs, Nico Schlotterbeck, and Jonathan Tah, with salaries ranging between €6 million and €8 million.

The lowest-paid player is the youngest, Aleksandar Pavlović, who opted not to play for Serbia. Pavlović, along with Stuttgart's attacking full-back Maximilian Mittelstädt, earns €1 million per season. Coach Julian Nagelsmann has a salary of €6 million per year under his new contract.
