A dramatic scene unfolded on Friday night between Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara during what was supposed to be a routine custody handover of their daughters, Francesca and Isabella.
Instead, the exchange turned into a chaotic confrontation, involving police intervention, emergency medical personnel, and cries for help from Nara.
According to reports, the Galatasaray forward arrived at Chateau Libertador, where Nara resides, but tensions quickly escalated. The dispute allegedly began over the custody of the family’s pets, with Icardi reportedly refusing to take the dogs with him after seeing his daughters for the first time in 60 days.
Journalist Ángel de Brito provided further details on the Argentine TV program Pasó en América, stating:
"We were surprised when we received reports from neighbors. People in the building said an elevator was blocked because of loud shouting. They heard Wanda screaming, they heard Mauro, and they heard the girls crying."
The situation escalated to the point where police officers had to intervene after Icardi allegedly refused to release his daughters.
"The police told him, ‘We’re going to have to arrest you if you don’t let go of the girls,’ because the children were screaming and didn’t want to leave. When Mauro still refused to calm down, they warned him again. That’s when he finally let go and left in the wrong direction," De Brito reported.
In the midst of the altercation, Wanda Nara was captured on video shouting for help, visibly distressed in front of her daughters. Emergency medical personnel and psychological support teams were also called to assist Francesca and Isabella, who were deeply affected by the scene.
Reports suggest that an arrest warrant may have been issued for Icardi, though it remains unclear whether authorities will act on it.
This latest incident adds to the ongoing turmoil in Icardi and Nara’s highly publicized separation, which continues to be a source of controversy in Argentina and beyond.
