Serbian coach Dragan Stojković emphasized that it was a tough match for Serbia, steering the conversation towards the mentality and perseverance of Serbia.

"Serbs don't die easily. We don't give up and we believe until the end. The result came as a reward for that belief. Maybe the match was over for someone, but not for us. We knew it would be a tough match, this is the Euro, and every point counts. We managed to create many chances, but we didn't score. We didn't want to concede defeat to Slovenia."

On the conceded goal and the comeback:
"When you concede a goal in such a match, you have to stay calm; otherwise, you can't think rationally. I made moves that I believed would help our team. A high level of character is visible in us; we don't give up, and from that perspective, I'm satisfied. With substitutions and fresh legs, we managed to create an opportunity. We are still alive."

On Luka Jović:
"I expect every player to contribute to our game. Luka Jović is a goalscorer who can turn even the smallest chance into a goal. That's why we refreshed the attack. Other players also came in; we want to play offensively, we don't want defensive football. We created many chances, and in the end, we showed character. Our plan, of course, was to win."

On the start of the match, when Slovenia dominated:
"The start of the match is important, but all parts of the game are important. We need to be more active, use the space, and not make mistakes in passes. The defense played exceptionally well today; it's not easy to play against Šporar and Šeško, they fought like lions."

On the defense:
"In the first half, we had problems with the Slovenian full-backs, who were free all the time. We played with three at the back. In the second half, we changed it; Vlahović and Tadić helped the midfielders, and it was better then. I really don't like boring football, as you can see, we play offensively. I want to attack."
