Arda Turan could leave Eyupspor for Shakhtar Donetsk, casting doubt over Svit Sešlar’s future at the Turkish club after his loan spell with Celje.

Eyupspor’s head coach Arda Turan, a Turkish football icon, is reportedly attracting interest from abroad — with Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk now emerging as serious contenders to land his signature.

According to Marca, Shakhtar are looking to bounce back after losing the domestic title to Dynamo Kyiv and view Turan as the man to guide them back to the Champions League.

This development adds uncertainty to the future of Svit Sešlar, who is currently on loan at Celje from Eyupspor. The Slovenian midfielder has drawn praise for his performances, particularly in the UEFA Conference League, where he is currently the leading assist provider.

Turkish media have highlighted Sešlar’s form, especially ahead of Celje’s clash with Fiorentina. However, it remains unclear whether Eyupspor will offer him another chance or if his future lies elsewhere.

During Sešlar’s initial stint at Eyupspor, Turan did not see him as a first-team regular. If the coach departs for Ukraine this summer, Sešlar could return to a new boss — or be sent elsewhere once again.

Eyupspor are chasing a place in Europe this season, and while Turan’s profile is on the rise, the club may soon face a reshuffle on the bench and in the squad.
