Silas Katompa Mvumpa, the former Stuttgart winger, has joined Crvena zvezda on loan with an option to buy for over €10 million, potentially making him the most expensive signing in the club's history.

Crvena zvezda has secured the signing of Silas Katompa Mvumpa, a Congolese international, from Stuttgart. According to reports from Mozzart Sport, Silas has joined the Serbian champions on loan, with an option to purchase for over €10 million, which could make him the most expensive acquisition in the history of the club.

Silas plays as a right winger and began his career at Olympique Alès before moving to Paris and then Stuttgart. For the Democratic Republic of Congo, he has made 16 appearances and scored one goal.

This signing marks the third reinforcement for Crvena zvezda today, following the earlier arrivals of Nemanja Radonjić and Rade Krunić.

This season, Silas has only played one match for Stuttgart, featuring for 27 minutes in the German Super Cup. Last season, he made a total of 30 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing six assists.

Born on October 6, 1998, Silas has been with Stuttgart since the 2019/20 season.
