Snoop Dogg is serious about investing in Celtic and has suggested the club should bring Ange Postecoglou back, as the rap icon expands his football ownership alongside Swansea City.

Snoop Dogg is once again pushing to become involved at Celtic — and this time, the American rap superstar is talking about money on the table and a potential return for Ange Postecoglou.

The 54-year-old is already part of the ownership group at Swansea City, alongside Luka Modrić, and is now looking to expand his football portfolio. Celtic, the club he has supported since being gifted a Hoops shirt in 2005, is at the top of the list.

Snoop made it clear that he is willing to invest and assist with transfer spending in Glasgow — but he isn’t interested in a hands-on boardroom role.

“Investing in Celtic is something I’ve talked about before. If the opportunity is right, I’m down for it. Celtic is a huge club. All the owners have to do is ask.”

His comments come after Brendan Rodgers’ resignation, with Martin O’Neill currently overseeing the squad on an interim basis. Snoop, however, has his own idea on who should lead Celtic forward:

“You got to bring Ange back. The fans would love to see him again.”

Ange Postecoglou, now available after leaving Nottingham Forest, remains hugely admired in Glasgow following his trophy-winning spell. Snoop’s sentiments echo a growing portion of the Celtic fanbase.

Snoop has spoken often about Celtic supporters being unlike any others in European football. He sees both the atmosphere and club culture as central to why he wants to be involved — whether through investment, commercial partnerships, or simply showing up at Celtic Park.

The rapper even joked about his own matchday role:

“Snoop Dogg becomes Hoopy the Hound — the headlines write themselves.”

He also floated the idea of running a burger pop-up outside the stadium, promising that he would serve fans personally — “with love in the preparation.”

With Celtic back in form after a Scottish League Cup semi-final win over Rangers, attention now shifts to the Europa League clash against Midtjylland — and Snoop will be watching.

Whether his investment becomes more than talk now depends on the Celtic board.
