Slovenia international Srđan Kuzmić is set to join Ligue 1 side Lorient from Viborg in a €3 million deal, with a medical scheduled before the transfer.

Slovenia international Srđan Kuzmić is on the verge of taking a major step in his career after
Lorient reached an agreement with Viborg for the full-back's transfer to France.
The 22-year-old has attracted considerable interest from across Europe in recent years, with Nottingham Forest, Toulouse and Dinamo Zagreb among the clubs previously linked with him.
His future now appears to be in Ligue 1.
According to French transfer reporter Rudy Galetti, Lorient and Viborg have reached an agreement worth approximately €3 million, with Kuzmić set to undergo a medical before completing the transfer.
Lorient agree €3m deal with Viborg
The move represents good business for Viborg, particularly given Kuzmić's contractual situation.
The Slovenian's deal with the Danish club was due to expire at the end of the current season, but Viborg are still expected to collect around €3m from his departure.
For Kuzmić, the transfer provides an opportunity to test himself in one of Europe's five major leagues after establishing himself in Denmark.
Lorient appear to have moved decisively during the closing stages of the transfer window after several other clubs had previously monitored his progress.
Kuzmić is expected to complete his medical before signing his contract with the French club.
From Slovenian football to Ligue 1
Kuzmić developed in Slovenia with Ilirija and Mura before moving abroad and establishing himself at Viborg.
He has since developed into one of the more highly regarded full-backs in the Danish league.
Kuzmić has made 86 appearances for Viborg, scoring six goals and providing five assists.
His performances in Denmark have also helped him break into the Slovenia national team, adding another important step to his development.
A move to Ligue 1 could now further strengthen his position in the national-team setup, with regular football in France offering Kuzmić the opportunity to compete against significantly stronger opposition on a weekly basis.
Lorient part of Bournemouth ownership group
Kuzmić will also be joining a club with increasingly strong international connections.
Lorient are owned by Black Knight Football Club, the investment group best known in football for its ownership of Premier League side Bournemouth.
The group has expanded its football portfolio in recent years and previously explored the possibility of investing in Croatian club Rijeka.
For Kuzmić, however, the immediate priority will be completing the final formalities of his transfer.
Barring a late complication during the medical process, the Slovenian international is set to leave Denmark for France in a deal worth around €3m and begin the next chapter of his career in Ligue 1.
