Slovenian striker Žan Vipotnik continues his incredible season in the Championship. In today’s Slovenian showdown between Swansea City and Bristol City, Vipotnik decided the match himself — a clinical finish for a 1–0 win and his 16th league goal of the campaign.
In the English Championship today, we witnessed a Slovenian duel. Swansea City faced Bristol City, which meant that Slovenian internationals Žan Vipotnik and Tomi Horvat met on the pitch.
It was Žan Vipotnik who celebrated, as he single‑handedly secured Swansea City’s victory (1–0). The former Maribor striker scored his 16th goal of the season (along with two assists). Adding two goals from the cup competitions, his total tally has already reached 18 goals!
Vipotnik currently remains the top scorer in the Championship.
