Juventus crashed out of the Champions League, but coach Thiago Motta insists he made no mistakes.
Juventus suffered a shocking exit from the Champions League, leaving Inter as Italy’s only remaining representative in the competition. After Atalanta and AC Milan were also eliminated, Gazzetta dello Sport described the situation as an “Euro disastro.”
The Turin club had high hopes after winning the first leg against PSV, but a stunning defeat in Eindhoven ended their European campaign, much to the disbelief of their fans.
Despite facing criticism, Thiago Motta remains firm in his stance, rejecting the notion that his decisions contributed to the elimination.
"We had control in the first half. It is true that the opponent pressed, but we hit the frame of the goal. We cannot be satisfied because we conceded two goals. If we want to play at this level, we have to be better. My substitutions? They were necessary, and I think I did not miss the substitutions, my decisions were correct," said Motta.
