Thuram strikes early, but Feyenoord respond
Marcus Thuram opened the scoring with a stunning solo effort, cutting in from the left and blasting home to put Inter ahead in the first half. Just before the break, Feyenoord found a lifeline when Jakub Moder converted a penalty to level the match at 1-1.

Any hopes of a Feyenoord fightback were quickly shut down when Inter won a penalty in the 50th minute. Hakan Calhanoglu stepped up and confidently slotted home to restore Inter’s lead at 2-1 on the night and seal their place in the last eight.
Another great season for Inzaghi’s men
With the win, Inter remain on course for a fantastic season. The Nerazzurri currently sit atop Serie A and are strong contenders in Europe. Next up, they shift focus to a crucial league clash against Atalanta in Bergamo.
Meanwhile, Feyenoord can look back on a memorable Champions League campaign, having reached the knockout rounds despite being underdogs in their group.
