Club Brugge will honor Tian Nai Koren and the U19 team after the Youth League final ahead of the Mechelen match.
Club Brugge will pay tribute to their talented youth generation today, with Tian Nai Koren and his teammates set to receive special recognition.
Before the league clash against Mechelen at the Jan Breydel Stadium, the Club NXT U19 squad will take part in a lap of honor in front of the fans.
The young players will present their silver medals after finishing as runners-up in the Youth League.
The Belgian club highlighted the achievement in an official statement.
"A historic second place and a fantastic European journey. Before the match, we will honour our U19 team with a lap of honour. Be in the stands and give them a standing ovation."
The final took place earlier this week in Lausanne, where Club Brugge pushed Real Madrid to the limit before losing on penalties.
Tian Nai Koren stood out as one of the best performers both in the final and throughout the campaign, confirming his status as one of the club’s top prospects.
His next step will be a push toward the first team, as he continues his rapid development.
Meanwhile, the senior side faces pressure in the Belgian title race.
After dropping points against leaders Union Saint-Gilloise, where former Olimpija player Raul Florucz plays, Brugge now sit four points behind at the top.
The equation is clear; they must win all remaining matches and hope for a slip from the leaders.
Still, before the tension of the title race continues, the spotlight will belong to a young team that has already written a memorable chapter in the club’s history.
