Tottenham are ready to offer almost €100m for Savinho. The Brazilian wants to work with Roberto De Zerbi, but Manchester City first want a replacement.

Tottenham have already completed two transfers worth around €100 million this summer, and the London club is now preparing an extraordinary third deal in the same price range.
After signing Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, Tottenham have turned their attention to Savinho. The Brazilian winger has been linked with Spurs several times in the past, but the Londoners are now ready to make a decisive move.
Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte claims Tottenham are prepared to offer Manchester City almost €100m for Savinho. The main obstacle at the moment is City, who do not want to allow the Brazilian to leave until they find a suitable replacement.
According to information from Brazil, Savinho has started putting pressure on Manchester City to allow the transfer. The Brazilian missed training on Thursday as he looks to reach an agreement over a move to London.
Savinho reportedly believes he would have a bigger role and receive more playing time at Tottenham. Roberto De Zerbi is another important factor, with the Brazilian keen to continue his development under the Italian coach.
De Zerbi has already overseen an extremely expensive rebuild of Tottenham's squad this summer. Spurs have spent more than €269m on reinforcements, but the Italian still wants additional quality in attack.
City first want to find a replacement
Manchester City have their own plans in the transfer market and could use the money from Savinho's departure to finance another major signing.
City are trying to sign Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, but negotiations have not been easy. Their first offer did not satisfy the London club, who value the Argentina international at around €140m.
Almost €100m from Savinho's potential sale would therefore give Manchester City significant financial room to continue negotiations for Fernandez.
Tottenham are also considering alternative options in case they fail to reach an agreement for Savinho. One of them is reportedly Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, who can operate on either wing or as a striker.
Spurs want to complete their key transfer business before the Premier League match against Brentford on August 22. With Savinho pushing for the move and Tottenham ready to make an enormous offer, the next few days could prove decisive.
