Tottenham’s Radu Drăgușin is out for the season with a knee ligament injury, adding to the club’s mounting injury crisis. Spurs signed Kevin Danso as a replacement.
Tottenham Hotspur has been hit with another serious injury setback, as Radu Drăgușin has been ruled out for the rest of the season. The Romanian center-back, who had established himself as a regular starter, suffered a knee ligament injury during Tottenham’s Europa League match against Elfsborg.
This latest setback adds to Spurs’ growing injury crisis, with key players Destiny Udogie, Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison, Brennan Johnson, Timo Werner, Wilson Odobert, Cristian Romero, and Dominic Solanke all currently sidelined.
With Drăgușin expected to be out for at least six months, Tottenham moved quickly in the transfer market, securing Kevin Danso from Lens as a defensive reinforcement.
Currently sitting in a disappointing 14th place in the Premier League, Tottenham’s injury struggles have played a significant role in their difficult campaign.
