UEFA has awarded Albania and Serbia the hosting rights for the 2027 U21 EURO, marking a historic joint bid. Both nations qualify automatically.

UEFA has officially announced that Albania and Serbia will co-host the 2027 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, marking a historic collaboration between the two Balkan nations.

The 16-team tournament will be played across eight stadiums, with four venues in Albania (Tirana, Shkoder, Elbasan, and Rrogozhine) and four in Serbia (Novi Sad, Loznica, Leskovac, and Zaječar). The opening match is set to take place in Serbia, while the final will be held in Albania.

Both Albania and Serbia qualify automatically as hosts, while the remaining 14 teams will secure their places through the qualification process.

Unlike the senior EURO, which is held every four years, the U-21 European Championship takes place biennially. The next edition will be hosted by Slovakia in June 2025, with England defending their title.
