Udinese are preparing to sell either Jaka Bijol or Oumar Solet this summer, with top Serie A and Premier League clubs showing interest in the defensive duo.
Udinese are planning a high-profile defensive sale this summer, with Jaka Bijol and Oumar Solet both drawing strong interest from Serie A giants and Premier League clubs, according to reports from Italy.
The duo has formed one of the most reliable centre-back pairings in Serie A, and the club is now set to cash in on one of the two, depending on the offers they receive.
As per Messaggero Veneto, Udinese will not let both leave, but they are ready to sanction the sale of either Bijol or Solet.
Bijol, a Slovenia international, is reportedly on the radar of several top Serie A sides, while Solet has attracted interest from Roma and multiple Premier League clubs.
Udinese have already set their price tags: they are believed to value Bijol at €25 million, while Solet could command as much as €35 million due to his growing reputation and physical profile.
Meanwhile, the club is actively scouting potential replacements. Two names are said to be high on their shortlist — Jay Idzes, the Dutch-born Indonesian international currently at Venezia, and Gora Diouf, a promising young defender from Swiss side Sion.
Udinese’s transfer strategy appears clear: maximise value from one major sale, reinvest smartly, and maintain their reputation as a club that develops and moves on top-level talent.
