Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeness dismissed reports linking Michael Olise with Real Madrid, insisting the club would not even consider selling the French winger.

Michael Olise has emerged as one of Europe's most exciting attacking players, but Bayern Munich have no intention of letting him leave. According to honorary president Uli Hoeness, the recent reports linking the French international with Real Madrid are nothing more than fantasy.
Although Hoeness no longer holds an executive position at Bayern, his opinions continue to carry enormous weight inside the club. Speaking about speculation surrounding Olise's future, the former Bayern president made it clear that there has never been any discussion about a possible transfer.
"I laughed until I cried. I checked the length of his contract and found that he still has three years left. It's not even a topic. Even if the Emperor of China came, we wouldn't talk to him," Hoeness said.
The veteran Bayern figure also explained why selling Olise would make no sporting sense.
"You'd have to be completely crazy to do that. You spend €70 million, sell him for €120 million, then you have to find a replacement and take another risk. Why would anyone do that?"
Bayern moved decisively to sign Olise from Crystal Palace in the summer of 2024, paying around €60 million to bring the winger to Munich. While several top European clubs were monitoring the player at the time, Bayern acted quickly and secured one of the most sought-after young attackers in Europe.
The investment has paid off. Olise has continued his rapid development in Germany, establishing himself as one of Bayern's key attacking players and significantly increasing his market value. His performances have naturally attracted attention from Europe's biggest clubs, including Real Madrid, but Bayern's position appears crystal clear.
With three years remaining on his contract and the club viewing him as a cornerstone of its future, Bayern have no intention of opening negotiations, regardless of who comes calling.
