Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoeness has expressed deep concern over Jamal Musiala after the young star suffered another worrying episode on the pitch.

Concern at Bayern Munich over the health of Jamal Musiala is growing after the German international experienced problems in each of his last two pre-season matches.
Musiala recently described the episodes himself as "neurological absences", and the fact that they occurred twice on the pitch within only four days has caused considerable concern inside the German champions.
Bayern's long-time president and current supervisory board member Uli Hoeness has now spoken openly about the situation in an interview with RTL. Hoeness admitted that Bayern had been aware of certain health problems for some time, but suggested that the club did not fully understand their extent.
"The fact that it happened again four days later really shocked me. I was speechless, which is something that happens to me very rarely. I go to bed thinking of him at night and wake up thinking of him in the morning. We support Jamal unconditionally," Hoeness told RTL.
According to Hoeness, Bayern knew about Musiala's problems before the recent incidents, but the situation became much more alarming when they began occurring during matches.
"We had been informed about the problems for quite some time. But last week against Leipzig, it happened to him for the first time on the pitch. I thought that if it didn't happen again soon, the medicine would help. When it happened again four days later, it really shocked me," he added.
Hoeness also revealed a surprising detail about the information Bayern had received regarding the condition. According to the 74-year-old, the club had not been given a completely clear picture of what Musiala was dealing with.
"We were not clearly informed. There were certain signs, but he trained and played matches. I don't know whether these problems affected his performances or whether they were due to the ankle problem," Hoeness explained.
The Bayern official made it clear that the club's immediate concern is Musiala's health rather than football, although he acknowledged that the situation may eventually have sporting consequences for Bayern as well.
"This is a drama especially for Jamal. Now it is primarily a problem for Jamal the man, but also for the club in the medium term. We are all speechless, we were not prepared for this. We will have to learn how to deal with this situation," said Hoeness.
The latest episode has left Bayern facing uncertainty ahead of the new season. For now, the priority is clear: Musiala's health comes first, while the club waits for greater clarity over the condition affecting one of its biggest stars.
