Arsenal released an official 18-minute film from their Premier League title parade after more than one million fans filled the streets of north London.
Arsenal have released official footage from the biggest celebration the club has seen in decades. Only one day after suffering heartbreak against PSG in the Champions League final, players, staff and supporters turned their attention toward celebrating a long-awaited achievement, the club’s first league title since 2004.
The scenes in north London were extraordinary. According to estimates from authorities and organisers, between 750,000 and one million supporters lined the streets for the celebration, while officials from the borough of Islington later suggested attendance may have exceeded one million people. Those numbers would place Arsenal’s celebrations among the biggest football parades in English football history.
Players travelled through north London in open-top buses across an approximately eight-kilometre route, greeting supporters who had occupied viewing spots hours before the celebrations officially started. The event was not limited to the men’s squad either, as the Arsenal women’s team and club staff also joined the celebrations.
Despite the festive atmosphere, emergency services remained heavily involved throughout the day. Metropolitan Police confirmed 16 arrests connected to incidents involving public disorder, alcohol-related offences, assault and sexual harassment.
The London Fire Brigade also faced a busy evening, responding to around 75 incidents involving supporters gathering in dangerous locations or climbing onto unsafe structures. Firefighters additionally dealt with several smaller fires reported along the parade route.
Now Arsenal supporters have the chance to relive everything from inside the celebrations themselves.
The club has released an 18-minute official film showing the parade from the perspective of players and staff, capturing the atmosphere from one of the biggest days in Arsenal’s modern history.
