Barcelona players honored Real Madrid after their King's Cup triumph, forming a guard of honor as Modrić, Ancelotti, and the squad accepted their runner-up medals.

Real Madrid fell short of winning their 21st King’s Cup trophy, while Luka Modrić narrowly missed out on adding a 29th title to his glittering collection with the club.

Barcelona clinched a 3-2 victory in the final, securing a record-extending 32nd King’s Cup title. After the match, the Catalan players displayed great sportsmanship by forming a guard of honor for their rivals during the medal ceremony.

Each Real Madrid player, led by manager Carlo Ancelotti, passed through the line of applauding Barcelona players. The emotional moment ended with Luka Modrić being the final player to walk through, receiving a warm ovation.

Modrić, captain of both Real Madrid and the Croatian national team, remains under contract with the Spanish giants until the end of the upcoming Club World Cup. Although he couldn't add another team trophy, Modrić continues to hold the club record with 28 titles won during his illustrious career at Madrid.
