Barcelona clawed back to 2-2 against Real Madrid in a thrilling Copa del Rey final, with Ferran Torres keeping their hopes of silverware alive.
Barcelona were punished for their missed chances as they went from 1-0 up to 2-1 down, but they have now equalised against Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey final.
Hansi Flick’s side suffocated their bitter rivals during the opening 28 minutes and earned their reward when Pedri emphatically opened the scoring after a great save from Thibaut Courtois to deny Jules Kounde.
Kylian Mbappe was introduced at half-time by Carlo Ancelotti and immediately made an impact, scoring to level the match at 1-1. Aurelien Tchouameni then put Los Blancos ahead, heading home from Arda Guler’s corner.
However, just seven minutes later, Ferran Torres struck back for Barcelona. He showed excellent composure to round Courtois and calmly slot into the empty net, bringing the score to 2-2 and reigniting Barcelona’s dream of Copa del Rey glory.
