Neymar lost his temper after Santos reached the Brazilian Cup quarterfinals, and he became involved in a fiery confrontation with members of Remo's delegation.

Neymar was at the center of dramatic scenes after Santos defeated Remo 1-0 to secure a place in the Brazilian Cup quarterfinals.
The former Brazil captain became involved in a heated confrontation in the tunnel at the Mangueirão Stadium shortly after the final whistle. Videos published by Brazilian journalist Brenna Rayol show Neymar shouting at members of Remo's delegation before being held back as tensions escalated.
The exact cause of the dispute remains unclear. Still, the Santos star appeared furious as he responded to comments from the opposing side. During the exchange, Neymar repeatedly shouted "Sent off!" while making gestures toward Remo officials. At one point, he also directed an expletive at them as teammates and staff attempted to calm him down.
The atmosphere remained tense away from the pitch as well. According to Brazilian media, fans and members of the Remo delegation damaged part of the protective barrier outside the Santos dressing room, forcing security personnel to intervene before the situation could escalate further.
Neymar made his impact where it mattered most during the match. Introduced in the second half, he created the winning goal with a decisive assist as Santos booked their place in the last eight after the first leg had ended in a draw at Vila Belmiro.
The 34-year-old continues to play a key role for his boyhood club despite entering the final stage of his career. After ending his international career following Brazil's World Cup elimination, Neymar returned to Santos in January 2025.
So far this season, the Brazilian superstar has made 18 appearances, scoring eight goals and providing four assists as Santos continue their push for silverware.
