Yarek Gasiorowski, one of Valencia’s rising defensive talents, has turned down an offer from Galatasaray, opting to remain with his struggling club in their battle against relegation.
The 20-year-old central defender, despite competing for a place in the starting eleven against Cristhian Mosquera and César Tarrega, has already made 13 La Liga appearances this season, playing over 900 minutes. His performances have drawn interest from other clubs, but he remains committed to his parent club.
Galatasaray’s €15m bid rejected
Galatasaray, currently leading the Turkish Super Lig, submitted a €15 million offer for Gasiorowski. However, the young defender rejected the move, prioritizing his development at Valencia, which is fighting to stay in La Liga.
A chance for a bigger role next season
With Mosquera attracting interest from top European clubs and likely to leave in the summer, Gasiorowski is expected to have more opportunities to establish himself in the starting lineup next season. However, Valencia must first ensure their survival in La Liga to avoid an uncertain future in the 2025/26 campaign.
Spanish roots with Polish heritage
Gasiorowski hails from Polinyà del Xúquer, a municipality in the Valencia region. He comes from a mixed background, with a Spanish mother and a Polish father.
