Velež Mostar have confirmed the signing of Palestinian midfielder Ayham Shhade, who arrives as a free agent on a two-year deal with an option to extend.
Velež have officially unveiled Ayham Shhade as their latest signing, confirming the Palestinian midfielder as the club’s third reinforcement of the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old arrives as a free agent, having spent the past six months without a club after leaving Hapoel Nof HaGalil, where he last played in Israel’s second tier.
Experience from Israeli football
Shhade brings solid experience from Israeli football, where he previously represented Hapoel Acre, Hapoel Kfar Kana and Maccabi Tamra.
His most notable spell came with Hapoel Acre, for whom he made 75 appearances, establishing himself as a reliable central midfielder and leaving a strong impression during his time at the club.
Contract details
Velež confirmed that Shhade has signed a two-year contract, with an option to extend the agreement for an additional season. The club believe his profile and experience will add depth and balance to the midfield as they prepare for the second half of the campaign.
Busy winter window in Mostar
Shhade follows Armin Spahić and Đani Salčin in joining the club this winter. At the same time, Huso Karjašević and Nermin Haskić have departed, signalling a clear reshaping of the squad.
With preparations well underway, Velež hope their latest addition can settle quickly and contribute immediately as they look to build momentum in the months ahead.
