Netflix has released the trailer for ‘Baila, Vini’, a documentary on Vinicius Jr’s rise, activism, and mindset—featuring Benzema, Courtois, and Bellingham ahead of its May 15 release.
Netflix has confirmed the release date for ‘Baila, Vini’, a documentary chronicling the rise of Vinicius Jr—from his early days in Brazil to global stardom at Real Madrid and his vocal fight against racism in football.
The highly anticipated film will premiere on May 15, with the streaming platform offering a first glimpse through a bold and emotional trailer. Vinicius sets the tone early with his trademark confidence: “They don’t pay me to be nice, they pay me to score goals.”
The documentary dives deep into his personality, struggles, and ambitions. Vinicius is also seen saying: “I admire Cristiano Ronaldo and LeBron James. I do everything to play my best.”
‘Baila, Vini’ includes appearances from current and former teammates, including Thibaut Courtois, Jude Bellingham, and Karim Benzema.
Courtois describes him as “electric on the pitch and joyful off it.” Bellingham calls him “one of the best in the world,” while Benzema simply refers to him as “number one.”
The film is expected to showcase not only Vinicius’s footballing brilliance but also his activism and courage in challenging racism in Spanish stadiums—something that has defined him just as much as his stepovers and goals.
‘Baila, Vini’ is more than a sports documentary—it’s a portrait of a player who dances through pressure, defiance, and dreams on the world’s biggest stage.
