Vinicius Junior reacted angrily to Barcelona supporters during El Clásico by gesturing Real Madrid’s 15 Champions League titles toward the stands.
Vinicius Junior once again found himself at the center of controversy during El Clasico.
The Real Madrid star reacted emotionally to provocations from Barcelona supporters and responded by showing the number 15 toward the stands.
The gesture clearly referred to Real Madrid’s record 15 Champions League titles.
It happened during another frustrating evening for the Madrid giants at the Camp Nou, where Barcelona secured the La Liga title with a 2:0 victory.
Vinicius has long been one of the main targets for opposing supporters in Spain.
His emotional reactions and fiery personality often make him the focus of attention during high-pressure matches, especially against Barcelona.
Yesterday was no different.
At one point during the match, visibly irritated by comments from the stands, the Brazilian forward turned toward Barcelona supporters and raised his hands to signal the number 15.
The message was obvious.
Real Madrid remain the most successful club in European football history with 15 European crowns, something Barcelona supporters can only dream about matching.
Still, many Madrid fans were not impressed by the reaction.
The timing especially sparked criticism because the club is currently going through one of its most turbulent periods in recent years.
Real Madrid has recently been surrounded by reports of dressing room conflicts, player disputes, disappointing performances, and growing frustration among supporters.
Against that backdrop, Vinicius’ emotional response only added more attention to the chaos surrounding the club.
The Brazilian also struggled to make a decisive impact during the derby itself.
Although he created one early dangerous opportunity, Barcelona largely controlled the match and secured the championship in front of their home supporters.
Despite the criticism, Vinicius already owns an impressive collection of trophies at only 25 years old.
Since arriving in Madrid, he has won the Champions League twice, collected three La Liga titles, and lifted multiple domestic and international trophies with the club.
His trophy cabinet already includes:
• 2 Champions League titles
• 3 La Liga titles
• 3 Spanish Super Cups
• 2 UEFA Super Cups
• 2 Club World Cups
• 1 Copa del Rey
• 1 Intercontinental Cup
Even so, emotions around Real Madrid remain extremely tense after losing another major battle to Barcelona.
