Turkish football is experiencing one of the most spectacular transfer summers in its history, and the spending may not be over yet.
Some of Europe's most recognizable attacking players have already chosen Turkey, while Dušan Vlahović and Romelu Lukaku could soon add even more star power to the Süper Lig.
Beşiktaş reached an agreement to sign Leandro Trossard from Arsenal, before Fenerbahçe responded by paying Marseille a club-record €39 million for Mason Greenwood.
Then came perhaps the biggest statement of all.
Trabzonspor signed Mohamed Salah, convincing the former Liverpool superstar to choose Turkey rather than continue his career in Saudi Arabia.
Now two established Serie A strikers could follow.
Vlahović appears to be heading for Beşiktaş
Vlahović has spent much of the summer waiting for an opportunity to join one of Spain's biggest clubs.
Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have all been linked with the Serbian international, but none have produced an offer strong enough to convince him.
That has opened the door for Beşiktaş.
According to Sport Mediaset, the Istanbul club have offered Vlahović a three-year contract with an option for another season.
The financial package is enormous.
Vlahović would reportedly earn €10 million per season, meaning €30m in guaranteed salary over the initial three years.
There is another major advantage for the striker.
Since his Juventus contract has expired and no transfer fee is required, Beşiktaş are reportedly prepared to give Vlahović a €10m signing bonus.
The complete guaranteed package would therefore be worth around €40m before additional bonuses.
Current indications suggest that the 26-year-old could complete his move by the end of the week.
Fenerbahçe want Lukaku
Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe are working on another blockbuster transfer.
The Istanbul giants considered several prominent strikers during the summer, including Richarlison, Alexander Sørloth, Folarin Balogun, Serhou Guirassy, Vangelis Pavlidis and Endrick.
Their attention has now shifted firmly towards Romelu Lukaku.
The Belgian striker has reportedly already reached an agreement in principle with Fenerbahçe over a two-year contract worth €10m per season.
The remaining obstacle is an agreement with Napoli.
Fenerbahçe's initial offer was reportedly around €5m, while the Italian club are demanding approximately €15m.
That leaves a considerable gap between the two clubs, but negotiations are continuing.
Turkey's extraordinary collection of stars
The potential arrivals of Vlahović and Lukaku would add another dimension to an already extraordinary transfer window.
Turkey has traditionally attracted established European stars in the later stages of their careers, but this summer's activity is different in terms of both volume and investment.
Greenwood arrived for a record fee, while Vlahović is only 26 and should theoretically be entering the prime years of his career.
The rivalry between Turkey's biggest clubs is also driving the market.
Beşiktaş have Trossard and are pursuing Vlahović. Fenerbahçe have already invested heavily in Greenwood and now want Lukaku. Trabzonspor have made their own enormous statement by signing Salah.
If Vlahović and Lukaku complete their moves, Turkey will enter the new season with one of the most star-studded collections of attacking players the Süper Lig has ever seen.
