Serbian international Dušan Vlahović is the highest-paid player in the Italian league.
Vlahović’s salary has risen to €12 million this season, making him the highest-paid player in the league. Juventus is known for often having the league's top earners, as they previously paid Cristiano Ronaldo €30 million per season from 2018 to 2021. According to a report by "ExpressVPN," Ronaldo is currently the highest-paid footballer in the world, with a staggering annual salary of over $218 million at Al-Nassr.
The highest-paid player in Serie A for the 2024-25 season is Vlahović, followed by Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, who is now on loan at Galatasaray.
Last season’s top scorer, Lautaro Martinez, signed a new contract with Inter, earning €9 million annually until 2029, making him the third-highest-paid player in Serie A.
Lautaro could be overtaken by Paulo Dybala, whose salary has automatically increased to €7 million per year, with the potential for an additional €2 million in bonuses.
Other top earners in Serie A also play for Inter. Before Lautaro, Inter extended the contract of another star, Nicolò Barella, who played a significant role in their historic title win in the 2023-24 season, earning €6.5 million annually.
