Kyle Walker and his wife Annie Kilner are celebrating a fresh start in their marriage with a romantic summer getaway to Ibiza, where they’ve joined Riyad Mahrez and Taylor Ward aboard a luxury yacht.
The Manchester City defender, whose private life has dominated headlines over the past 18 months, is enjoying his second holiday of the summer after a family trip to the United States. According to The Sun, the Ibiza break is a more intimate affair — a special moment for Walker and Kilner to reconnect following a difficult chapter in their marriage.
“Kyle is so pleased things are back on track with Annie he wanted to treat her,” a source told the tabloid. “He’s having quality time with Annie, which is so special to him — especially after the last couple of years.”
The couple appeared headed for divorce after Walker fathered two children with influencer Lauryn Goodman. However, they have since reconciled and are now focusing on rebuilding their relationship and moving forward as a family.
Walker, who spent part of last season on loan at AC Milan, remains in limbo regarding his football future. Although his personal life appears to be stabilizing, it is still unclear where he will play next season. Everton and Fenerbahçe have both been linked with a possible move for the experienced full-back.
