Brazilian forward Deyverson has taken the art of simulating fouls to a whole new level.

The Copa Libertadores is currently in the round of 16, and yesterday, the first three teams secured their spots in the quarterfinals.

In a Brazilian derby, Fluminense eliminated Gremio, Chile's Colo Colo advanced to the next round with an away victory over Atletico Junior from Colombia, and Atletico Mineiro defeated Argentina's San Lorenzo 1-0, progressing to the final eight with an aggregate score of 2-1.

The winning goal was scored by Argentine Rodrigo Battaglia, but the most comedic moment of the match was provided by Atletico's forward, Deyverson. Many may remember him from a few years ago when he dramatically fell to the ground, thinking he had been touched by an opposing player, only to realize it was the referee who had brushed against him.

Yesterday, Deyverson delivered another theatrical performance more suited to a stage than a football field. In the attached video, you can see how Deyverson simulated a foul when a San Lorenzo player clearly missed him by a wide margin.
