West Ham have turned down a £50m offer from Tottenham for Ghana international Mohammed Kudus, who is eager to play Champions League football next season.

West Ham have rejected a £50 million offer from Tottenham for Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus, according to the BBC. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder is reportedly keen to leave the Hammers, as he wants to play in the Champions League, which Tottenham have secured after winning the UEFA Europa League.

Talks between the two London clubs are expected to continue, but West Ham are holding firm. Kudus arrived at the club in 2023 from Ajax for £38 million, and has since impressed with 19 goals in 80 appearances.

He remains under contract until June 30, 2028, and has a release clause set at £85 million. West Ham are believed to be unwilling to sell for anything below that figure.

Kudus’s desire to take the next step in his career is well known, and his consistent performances in the Premier League have made him one of the most sought-after African players in Europe. Tottenham view him as a versatile and explosive addition to their squad ahead of their return to elite continental competition.
