Milan faces a crucial test tonight as they look to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit against Feyenoord in the Champions League round of 16 qualifiers.
A loss would see the seven-time European champions eliminated from the competition.
The match at San Siro is set to be one of the most intense clashes of the night, with Milan determined to capitalize on home advantage and Feyenoord’s growing injury concerns.
The Dutch side won the first leg in Rotterdam, but their preparations for the return fixture have been disrupted by several key injuries.
Last weekend, Quinten Timber, the captain of Feyenoord and brother of Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber, suffered a serious knee injury in a match against NAC. He has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
In addition to Timber, the Dutch club will also be without In-Beom Hwang, a former Red Star Belgrade midfielder, and Ayase Ueda, the Japanese striker.
Timber has been a vital part of Feyenoord’s squad, scoring six goals in 18 Eredivisie appearances this season. His absence will be a major blow for the visitors as they attempt to protect their narrow lead.
