Victoria Beckham marked 26 years with David by calling their family her greatest pride, in a post that subtly reflected the ongoing distance with her eldest son, Brooklyn.
Victoria Beckham has paid a heartfelt tribute to husband David Beckham on their 26th wedding anniversary, while subtly addressing the emotional toll of a growing rift with their eldest son Brooklyn.
The 51-year-old fashion designer and former Spice Girl shared a romantic throwback photo of her and David kissing in a swimming pool, writing on Instagram: “Another year, another chapter in our love story. I'm so proud of the beautiful family and life we've built together. You and our four incredible children complete me. I love you so much.”
Her mention of their “beautiful family” and four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper – comes at a delicate time, as tensions with 26-year-old Brooklyn Beckham have become increasingly apparent.
Brooklyn, who has grown distant from the family since marrying actress Nicola Peltz, did not attend David’s 50th birthday celebration in May, nor did he publicly acknowledge his father’s recent knighthood. Meanwhile, he continues to share loving tributes to the Peltz family online and promote his latest photoshoot with Nicola for luxury brand Moncler, taken just miles from the Beckham family home in London.
David Beckham also posted a touching tribute to Victoria, writing: “26 years today you said YES to me. Happy Anniversary and thank you for giving me our beautiful children and building the life we have together. I love you, Lady Beckham.” He tagged all four of their children, including Brooklyn.
Romeo Beckham, 22, also shared a poignant message after the death of footballer Diogo Jota and his brother, reminding followers: “The people that truly love you and care for you will always be there.” Many viewed this as an indirect nod to the family's ongoing fracture.
According to a source close to the family, Brooklyn had been in London at the time of the Moncler shoot, just miles from his parents, but made no contact. “It was terribly sad that he had flown thousands of miles and hadn’t engaged at all,” the insider told The Mirror. “It would have been very easy to meet up.”
As Victoria and David publicly reaffirm their love and family bond, the silence from Brooklyn remains deeply felt—especially on such a meaningful milestone.
