Al Nassr suffered an unexpected setback ahead of their Saudi Pro League match against Al Wehda, as their team bus broke down en route to the stadium.
The incident caused a major delay to the kickoff of the 22nd round fixture.
Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates arrived late due to the transport issue, adding to the club’s recent struggles. In the previous round, Al Nassr suffered a disappointing defeat to Al Ettifaq, further denting their title hopes.
Al Nassr are currently fourth in the league, trailing **10 points behind the top spot**. The reigning champions, Al Hilal, have not shown the same dominance as last season and currently sit in second place. Meanwhile, Al Ittihad lead the standings, with stars like Karim Benzema, Ngolo Kanté, Moussa Diaby, Fabinho, and Steven Bergwijn playing key roles.
Despite their domestic struggles, Al Nassr have performed well in the AFC Champions League, securing a place in the round of 16. They are set to face Esteghlal FC from Iran in the next stage.
