Inter is leading the chase for Marseille’s Luis Henrique, aiming to sign the winger in June ahead of the Club World Cup, though talks over a €30–35 million fee are ongoing.

Inter Milan are already planning for the summer transfer window as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup, and 23-year-old winger Luis Henrique has emerged as a top target.

According to reports from Italian media, Inter have taken the lead in the race to sign the Marseille attacker, who has impressed this season with 16 combined goals and assists across Ligue 1 and the French Cup.

The Brazilian, a product of Botafogo’s youth academy, has been at Marseille since 2020 and is drawing interest from multiple European clubs, including Bayern Munich. But Inter appear the most determined, having already opened talks with Marseille’s sporting director Mehdi Benatia.

Inter are keen to finalise a deal in June to ensure Henrique is eligible for the Club World Cup, where the Italian champions will be representing Europe. Personal terms are not expected to be a problem, with Henrique reportedly open to the move.

The sticking point remains the transfer fee. Marseille are asking for a figure in the range of €30–35 million, while Inter are hoping to negotiate that down. Discussions are ongoing, but Inter’s proactive approach has given them the edge.
