Jan Oblak is La Liga’s highest-paid goalkeeper, earning €400,577 weekly—on par with Real Madrid stars Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, while Lewandowski tops the earnings list.
Spanish media have published a list of the top earners in La Liga, with a Barcelona forward leading the way and Slovenia’s national team goalkeeper among the top five.
The esteemed Spanish outlet AS released a ranking of the best-paid players in La Liga. The biggest surprise on the list is the fourth position, where Jan Oblak, Slovenia’s national goalkeeper, appears.
Oblak is the highest-paid goalkeeper in Spain's elite league, reportedly earning around €400,577 per week, translating to nearly €21 million annually. Given that goalkeepers are typically not as highly paid as forwards or midfielders, this further underscores Oblak’s exceptional quality.
The Slovenian keeper is in the same pay bracket as two Real Madrid stars, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior.
The highest-earning player in La Liga, however, is Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski, who receives €641,000 per week, amounting to €31.2 million per season.
Following the Polish striker are Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe and his club teammate David Alaba.
