Arsenal is planning a squad overhaul, with Jorginho, Thomas Partey, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Kieran Tierney expected to leave as Mikel Arteta reshapes his squad.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is set to offload several key players this summer to fund a squad rebuild, as reported by Daily Star.
Following a 1-1 draw against Manchester United on Sunday, which widened Liverpool’s lead at the top of the Premier League table to 15 points, the Gunners are looking to strengthen their attack. However, before making new signings, the club must generate funds by selling players.
Reports indicate that Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jorginho, Thomas Partey, and Kieran Tierney are on their way out.
- Jorginho, Tierney, and Partey are approaching the end of their contracts.
- Zinchenko has lost his starting spot to Riccardo Calafiori.
- Jorginho is close to signing with Flamengo.
If these departures go through, Arsenal could use the funds to invest in a much-needed striker. The club remains linked to Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting), Benjamin Šeško (RB Leipzig), and Alexander Isak (Newcastle) as potential forward signings.
Additionally, if a new striker arrives, Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus—who have struggled with injuries this season—might seek an exit in search of regular playing time.
