Former Brazilian football star Kaká lives a peaceful family life with his wife Carolina Dias. His ex-wife recently revealed that their seemingly perfect marriage ended because he was “too perfect” for her.
Legendary Brazilian footballer Kaká, whose full name is Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, has settled into a peaceful family life after his playing career. His wife, Carolina Dias, recently shared a photo of the famous footballer kissing her on the cheek, both appearing happy and content.
During his career, Kaká won numerous trophies, including the prestigious Ballon d'Or, reports Glossy. Known for his humanitarian work and devotion to faith, Kaká was often described as the “nice guy” of football. His good looks also made him popular among fans, especially women.
He has been married to Carolina Dias for five years, but before that, Kaká was in a 10-year marriage with Caroline Celico, a former singer and pastor in the Evangelical church. The couple met in 2002 while Caroline was still in high school, and during their relationship, Kaká was playing for Milan.
The pair got engaged during one of Caroline’s visits to Italy and married in 2005 in São Paulo. They had two children together, a son Luca and a daughter Isabelle. However, in 2015, they surprised everyone by announcing their divorce.
Their seemingly perfect marriage always intrigued the public, and recently, Caroline Celico revealed the reason behind their split. “Kaká never betrayed me, he treated me well, gave me a beautiful family, but I wasn’t happy. Something was missing. The problem was that he was too perfect for me,” she explained, as reported by The Sun.
Both Kaká and Caroline have found happiness since their divorce. Kaká married Carolina Dias in 2019, while Caroline remarried Eduardo Scarpa Juliao and had a son, Rafael. Kaká has two more daughters with his second wife, Esther and Sara. Despite the separation, the former couple has remained on good terms.
