Leandro Trossard’s wife, Laura Hilven, has been by his side since 2014. The Belgian couple now shares two sons and a private family life as Trossard shines for Arsenal.
Leandro Trossard may be earning plaudits at Arsenal for his tactical awareness and versatility, but off the pitch, there’s one person who’s been a steady presence throughout his journey — his wife, Laura Hilven.
The couple met in Belgium in 2014, when Trossard was still a rising talent at Genk. Their relationship blossomed early, and just weeks before his move to the Premier League with Brighton in 2019, they got married. That same year, they welcomed their first son, Thiago.
Laura, who is slightly older than Leandro, comes from a small Belgian town and has always maintained a low-profile lifestyle. While she values her privacy, she’s a devoted presence at matches, often seen supporting her husband from the stands — especially now that they’re based in North London following his move to Arsenal.
The Trossard family grew again with the birth of their second son, Amadeo, in 2023, just weeks after Leandro’s transfer to Arsenal. Despite the big move and growing family, Laura continues to remain grounded, offering unwavering support behind the scenes.
Though Laura is often in the stands, Leandro stays locked in on the pitch. "I don’t look into the crowd or wave. I need to be 100% focused on the game," he has said — a reflection of the same discipline that has made him one of Mikel Arteta’s key players.
Trossard continues to thrive at Arsenal, often crediting Arteta as a tactical genius who’s sharpened his understanding of the game. But away from the tactics and spotlight, it’s clear that Laura remains one of his greatest sources of support and stability.
