Barcelona still owes payments on Robert Lewandowski's transfer fee, with several clubs, including Polish amateur teams, awaiting their share.

Robert Lewandowski has started the season in top form for Barcelona, but financial details surrounding his €50 million transfer from Bayern Munich in 2022 reveal that Barcelona has yet to settle the full payment. According to Sport, several clubs, including Lewandowski’s former teams, are still awaiting funds related to the deal.

Barcelona owes €21 million to Bayern Munich—€10.4 million in the short term and €10.6 million in the long term. Additionally, several other clubs expect their share of payments, which reflects the network of clubs Lewandowski played for before reaching the top levels of European football.

Borussia Dortmund is owed €78,000 short-term and another €78,000 long-term. Legia Warsaw awaits €50,000 short-term and the same amount in the long term. Lech Poznań is set to receive €119,000 each in both short-term and long-term payments, while second-division side Znicz Pruszków is owed €113,000 on both ends.

Even amateur clubs will benefit from these payments, with Delta Warsaw due €33,000 short-term and long-term, and MKS Warsaw owed €169,000 on both terms. These payments reflect Lewandowski's journey through the ranks of Polish football before reaching European prominence.

Barcelona’s ongoing financial struggles have contributed to delays in payments. This situation impacted their recent signings, as shown when Dani Olmo faced registration delays due to financial constraints.
