Lionel Messi has entered the wine business with his 10 GOAT collection, featuring two premium wines from Italy with collectible bottles priced at €60.32 each.
Argentine football legend Lionel Messi, currently playing for Inter Miami, has taken a step into the wine industry with the launch of his own collection called 10 GOAT. The name pays homage to his iconic jersey number and his status as the "Greatest of All Time" (GOAT).
Messi introduced the wines on his Instagram profile, sharing photos of the bottles with the caption: "Some of you have asked about these unique wines we produce with MM Winemaker. Here’s a special limited edition—two premium wines with collectible bottles that you can’t miss. Have you tried them yet?"
The collection includes two premium wines with distinct labels:
- A white Syrah Indicazione Geografica Tipica (I.G.T) from Sicily.
- A red Indicazione Geografica Tipica (I.G.T) from the Puglia region in Italy.
Both bottles feature a silhouette of Messi, his number 10, and the "GOAT" branding. Fans have praised Messi’s new venture, with some humorously comparing the wines to his famous goals, calling them equally unforgettable.
The wines are priced at €60.32 per bottle and are available exclusively online. According to reports, demand is high, and the entire limited edition is expected to sell out within months. This could lead to a second release of the 10 GOAT wine in the near future.
Messi partnered with MM Winemaker, a company with a rich history tied to Italian wine regions like Campania, Puglia, and Sicily. MM Winemaker is owned by the Maci family, based in Geneva, Switzerland, and is renowned for its innovative approach to winemaking. The company has won over 500 international awards at prestigious competitions such as Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, CWSA Hong Kong, and Expovina.
This latest business move by Messi showcases his versatility beyond football, with fans eagerly embracing his foray into the wine world.
