Kylian Mbappe has scored 22 La Liga goals this season, double Vinicius Junior’s tally and more than triple Rodrygo’s, leading Real Madrid’s attack.

Kylian Mbappe is proving every bit the superstar Real Madrid hoped for, with his stunning debut season putting Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo Goes in the shade.

The French forward has netted 34 goals in 51 matches across all competitions this season, including 22 goals in 29 La Liga appearances, contributing exactly one-third of Madrid’s league goals.

By comparison, Vinicius has 11 goals in 27 league matches, while Rodrygo has managed just 6 in 30 appearances. In total, Vinicius has 21 goals and Rodrygo 14 across all competitions.

Mbappe’s arrival has transformed Madrid’s attack, making him the clear focal point. He has already surpassed Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut season tally at the club, and scored in both the UEFA Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup finals to deliver silverware.

The numbers tell the story: Mbappe has scored against 15 La Liga teams this season and has only gone three consecutive league games without a goal—all at the very start of the campaign.

Meanwhile, Vinicius has struggled for consistency, going up to six matches without scoring, and Rodrygo is enduring a 13-game league goal drought dating back to January.

With four league matches left, Mbappe will look to sharpen his finishing ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup and target goals against Barcelona and Valencia, the few sides he hasn’t scored against yet.
