Richarlison, the 27-year-old Tottenham Hotspur forward, has announced that he is set to become a father. He shared the joyful news on Instagram with his partner, Amanda Araujo, revealing her pregnancy through a series of heartwarming photos.
The couple posed with ultrasound images and a pair of baby-sized flip-flops, with Richarlison captioning the post: "Now there are 3 of us." The nickname refers to Richarlison’s trademark pigeon celebration.
Amanda Araujo, a law student from Sao Paulo, Brazil, has been a supportive partner to Richarlison during his challenging moments, including his injury struggles in North London. Last November, she traveled to be by his side after the forward underwent groin surgery.
The couple were first spotted together in July 2023 while on holiday in Brazil. Since then, Amanda has remained a steady presence in Richarlison’s life, offering support as he deals with ongoing injury issues that have limited his appearances this season. The forward has only featured in seven matches and has been sidelined since November, when he was forced to withdraw during a game against Aston Villa.
