Campello was reportedly upset that Morata’s family joined him on the pitch during the victory celebrations. She had expected only their four children and her friends to be present.
The conflict over Morata’s family being involved in the celebration led to a major fallout between the couple, who had been married for eight years. This family dispute after the final is said to have significantly deteriorated their relationship, eventually leading to their divorce.
Morata has since turned a new page in his life, not only with the end of his marriage but also by switching clubs, moving from Atletico Madrid to AC Milan.
