Dinamo's Arber Hoxha makes a significant move by switching his national team allegiance from Kosovo to Albania, ahead of friendly matches against Chile and Sweden.
Arber Hoxha, the footballer for Dinamo Zagreb, has made a significant career decision by opting to change national teams.
Henceforth, Hoxha will not represent Kosovo but will be seen donning the colors of Albania in future engagements. He has been called up by the Albanian national team's coach, the renowned Brazilian Sylvinho, for friendly matches against Chile and Sweden.
These matches are scheduled for the upcoming international break, and there are no barriers to Hoxha playing for Albania, as his previous appearances for Kosovo were only in friendly matches.
Hoxha has been with Dinamo since last winter when he transferred from Slaven Belupo in a deal worth one million euros. He previously played for Ballkani and Prishtina, where he began his career.
Born in Heidelberg, Germany, he holds both Albanian and Kosovan citizenship but has now decided to represent Albania after four appearances for Kosovo.
This season in the Croatian Football League, he has made 26 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 3 assists.
