RB Leipzig are exploring a summer move for Sunderland midfielder Jobe Bellingham. Talks are ongoing, but Sunderland's €30M price tag remains a major hurdle.

Could we see another Bellingham in the Bundesliga soon? According to Sky Germany, RB Leipzig have opened talks with Jobe Bellingham, the 19-year-old midfielder currently playing for Sunderland AFC in the English Championship and the younger brother of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham.

Leipzig are said to be closely monitoring the situation, although the interest has not yet intensified. The main stumbling block? Sunderland are reportedly demanding at least €30 million for their prized talent, who remains under contract until 2028.

A summer transfer is possible, especially if Sunderland fail to secure promotion to the Premier League. Bellingham has shown maturity beyond his years and could be ready for the next step in his career—especially at a club like Leipzig, known for developing young, energetic players.

With potential midfield departures looming—Amadou Haidara and Xaver Schlager are both under contract until 2026, but their future remains uncertain—Bellingham could be seen as a strategic long-term addition to the squad.

Bellingham has previously been linked with Borussia Dortmund, while in England, Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Manchester United are said to be keeping tabs. RC Strasbourg from France is also reportedly interested.

Whether Jobe follows in Jude’s footsteps and heads to Germany remains to be seen—but Leipzig appear to be very much in the mix.
