Manchester United have named a strong 23-man squad for Thursday's Europa League quarter-final first leg against Lyon, with returns for Shaw, Mainoo, Mount and Maguire.
Manchester United have announced their 23-man squad for the Europa League quarter-final first leg against Lyon, taking place at the Groupama Stadium on Thursday night.
Manager Ruben Amorim has included key players such as Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Alejandro Garnacho as United aim to take a step closer to the semi-finals.
Kobbie Mainoo has returned to the squad after a two-month injury absence. The young midfielder trained with the group earlier this week and could feature in the match in France.
Luke Shaw, who was on the bench in the Manchester derby, is available again and may be in line for more minutes.
Harry Maguire, Mason Mount, and Leny Yoro are also back in contention, having missed recent games. Goalkeepers Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton return to the squad after sitting out the last European trip.
Matthijs de Ligt remains sidelined with an injury picked up against Nottingham Forest, while Toby Collyer is also unavailable due to a knock.
